        乐晓春于1983 年结业于武汉大学化学系,1986 年在中国迷信院生态情况研讨中央取得硕士学位,1993 年在加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学 (University of British Columbia) 取得博士学位。1995年进入阿尔伯塔大学 (University of Alberta) 任教,在医学院病理和实行医学系、理学院化学系、大众安康学院情况安康专业任职。次要从事生命剖析化学、情况迷信、情况毒理与人体安康、基因毁伤与修复、纳米资料与新药物等研讨。发布论文三百余篇。

    乐传授取得二十多项荣誉, 嘉奖他为科研、讲授、和社会作出的突出奉献。早在2000年,乐传授取得加拿大天然迷信与工程研讨院的E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship,该奖以惩处加拿大四位最出色的青年迷信家和工程师,当年由加拿大国度总督亲身为乐传授等颁奖。同年,加拿大总理委任乐传授为第一批加拿大首席迷信家。他还取得加拿大化学会发表的W.A.E. McBryde Medal奖章、剖析化学成绩奖Maxxam Award、情况化学成绩奖 (Environment Research and Development Award)。嘉奖他在剖析化学和情况迷信方面作出的出色奉献。乐传授还被阿尔伯塔大学付与良好导师奖,惩处他在培育人才方面的突出奉献。2018年取得大学最高荣誉奖杯。乐传授于2010年中选为加拿大皇家迷信院院士 (Fellow of the Royal Society of CanadaAcademy of Science)

    乐传授现任中国侨联第十届委员会海内委员、国务院侨办专家征询委员会海内委员、中科院、基金委、科技部等机构的海内评审专家或参谋。应邀参与2009年的国庆60周年阅兵观礼和20159月的大阅兵。

    乐传授担当Journal of Environmental Sciences 期刊主编、Analytical Chemistry期刊副主编、Environmental Health Perspectives期刊副主编。他还担当Analytical Methods, Metallomics, Scientific Reports, Talanta,迷信转达、中国迷信-化学、中国化学会-化学、初等学校化学学报、剖析迷信学报、色谱、情况化学等十多期刊的编委。

Dr. Le holds an inaugural Canada Research Chair in Bio-Analytical Technology and Environmental Health. He is Distinguished University Professor, jointly appointed in the Departments of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Chemistry, and Public Health Sciences, and is the Director of Analytical and Environmental Toxicology Division.

Dr. Le’s primary research is in analytical chemistry and environmental toxicology. He has published more than 300 papers on bioanalytical techniques for environmental and health research, assessment of human exposure to environmental contaminants, and detection of proteins and DNA damage. His collaborative work on the determination of arsenic species, assays for trace levels of proteins and DNA damage, and new approaches to detection of these targets have enabled novel environmental and biological studies. Dr. Le has served on a number of international advisory committees on water, environment, and health.

Dr. Le is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Academy of Science., Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), and Fellow of Chemical Institute of Canada. He has received an E.W.R. Steacie Fellowship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. He received the W.A.E. McBryde Medal, the Maxxam Award (Analytical Chemistry), and the Environment Research and Development Award from the Canadian Society for Chemistry. He also received the Martha Cook Piper Research Prize, the Award for Excellence in Mentoring, and the University Cup from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Le has trained more than 80 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Twenty-seven (27) of his trainees currently hold independent academic positions in Canada, China, Turkey, and the United States.

Dr. Le is Associate Editor for Analytical Chemistry (ACS), Associate Editor for Environmental Health Perspectives (US NIEHS), and Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Environmental Sciences (CAS and Elsevier). He serves on Editorial/Advisory Boards for Analytical Methods (RSC), CCS Chemistry (CCS), Metallomics (RSC), Science China Chemistry (CAS), Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing), and Talanta (Elsevier).
